I got a call from someone named Tom claiming to be from a blockchain company, saying I had a bitcoin account. Thing is, I've never opened one. When I told him that, he insisted I must’ve set it up without noticing. The whole chat was pretty odd. Normally if you call out a scam like this, they hang up straightaway, but he just stayed on the line, waiting. He already knew my name, phone number, and email. Then, after the call, I got an email from that company. I looked them up on Google and every review warned it was a scam - defo best to avoid.
