I got a recorded call about some dodgy £900 visa charge. They told me to press 1, so I did. Next, this bloke with an Indian accent told me to download an app called AnyDesk. I played along and spent nearly 12 minutes messing about instead of hitting the download. He kept asking why I wouldn’t download it, and I told him I was just having a laugh wasting his time. He swore a bit and then hung up. Well, at least I kept him busy and stopped him from trying it on someone else who might’ve fallen for it.
