My dad got hit with the exact same scam message.

Got a message from someone calling me Dad, saying they were some sort of unknown relative with a new phone after losing the old one. When I asked who it was, they said “your eldest kid”. Honestly, it was obvious spam. Told them to kindly do one and deleted the number straight away!
