I got a message saying something like, 'Hey, are you busy or free right now?' No clue who it was from since it didn’t say. Couldn’t see any name or location either, so I’m just blocking and reporting it as spam. Feels like one of those random unknown texts.

This is a total recruitment scam. A few years back it made headlines when graduates fresh out of uni got caught up in it. The offer sounds brilliant - well paid, work from home with flexible hours. They ask for your full CV, promise you’ll get the job, and want your bank and NI number for payment. Then they send software for you to install on your computer. Sometimes they even ask you to pay an upfront fee to get started. Ridiculous, but some folks still fall for it. If you get this message, just forward it to 7726 and then block the caller.
