I keep getting calls from 07491451273. It's creepy how these fraudsters seem to have access to my personal info linked with my number. Are phone providers the ones selling our data or what?

Got a call from this number and it was one of those automated scams. I didn’t pick up this time but I’ve been getting so many of these annoying calls lately, it's really starting to wind me up.

So, yesterday afternoon my phone rang and this robotic lady voice said the HMRC was taking me to court for tax evasion. She told me to press 1 if I wanted to sort it out. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 07491451273, missed it so I decided to ring back. A woman picked up and claimed she was from HMRC, saying I'd got a warrant for arrest over some tax issue. I told her she must be mistaken and had the wrong person. She went quiet for a sec then said if I wasn’t willing to listen, she'd just carry on with whatever she had planned and then she hung up. Sounds like a total scam to me!

Got a robocall saying I should press 1 to talk to someone at HMRC about tax evasion. I didn’t press anything and just ended the call and blocked the number. Don’t be fooled by it, the voicemail even says you’ve got a warrant out for your arrest and tries really hard to sound legit. It’s a total scam.

got a call from a woman overseas saying I had an arrest warrant coz of messed up taxes and that I’m under a tax evasion probe. I told her I’m just a self-employed cleaner and don’t make that much money, then she just hung up on me. planning to call hmrc myself soon to report this. had some bloke ring me about the same thing last year aswell.

My phone rang and when I answered, there was this recorded voice with an American accent claiming to be from HMRC’s investigation division. They said I was under suspicion for tax fraud and told me to press 1 straight away to talk to someone about it. The message kept pushing me to press 1, which felt a bit threatening. I just hung up though, because I can’t see HMRC ever contacting folks like that.
