So, this bloke called up saying I'd been involved in tax fraud. I asked him to send something in writing but he said he wasn’t allowed to do that. Then he told me I had to find a criminal lawyer. I just ended up hanging up on him.

I got a robocall earlier with some American bloke telling me to hit one because there was supposedly a warrant out for my arrest over tax dodging. Naturally, I pressed one to chat with someone, and guess what? I ended up speaking to a lady at an Asian call centre who asked for my name. I figured, surely they’d have my details since they’d called me? Seemed fair enough to me. Then, out of nowhere, the call just dropped. Bit of a shame really, thought it might’ve been a laugh.

I got a call supposedly from HMRC saying there was a warrant out for my arrest over tax evasion. I put the call on speaker so my husband could hear as well. Then they asked me to turn off speaker phone saying they needed to talk privately. When I said I wanted my husband to be there and listen, they just ended the call. Seemed really dodgy to me.

I got a call claiming to be from HMRC saying they were about to send an arrest warrant for tax evasion. First, there was an automated voice, then it connected me to a bloke who seemed to only know some really old address tied to me and nothing else about my details. It was totally obvious this was a scam.

Got a dodgy call from some bloke abroad pretending to be from HMRC. I asked him for his name and some sort of HMRC ID number (not sure if that’s even real!). He hung up straight away. I’ve blocked the number, along with a bunch of other dodgy ones on my phone now!

Got a call claiming to be from HM Revenue saying I had criminal charges for tax evasion and to hit 1 to talk to them. Total scam alert. Don’t pick up if you see this number pop up. I’ve blocked this one as well as the last scammy HMRC number that called me.
