I got a recorded call warning me that my internet would be disconnected in 24 hours because of some ‘illegal activity’ and I had to press a button to talk to someone. They never actually mentioned which internet company they were from. If there really was illegal stuff going on, I’m sure my legit and well-known provider would’ve cut it off themselves, not just threaten me like this, and probably involve the police too. This has scam written all over it in my opinion. I wouldn’t trust this number for a second, it’s dodgy.
