In the past 48 hours, this scam caller pretending to be from Amazon Prime hass been blowing up my phone. Don’t be fooled! They keep warning me my bank will be charged £39.99 for some mysterious Prime membership unless I hit '1' to talk to someone about my account. I reckon if you press '1', it routes you to some pricey phone number that racks up big charges fast. Luckily, I’ve kept clear and haven’t pressed anything so far.

Just yesterday I got one of those Amazon Prime scam calls, and a few days earlier I had one about a Visa authorisation. It feels like I get scam calls almost every week. Whenever it’s a recorded message, I usually let it run its course before I hang up, and I never reply. If it’s a real person on the other end, sometimes I’ll chat with them for a bit just to waste their time before ending the call.
