Got a robo call this afternoon, Thursday 26th June 2025 at around 2:50pm. They were telling me to “join a group chat” or something. Seriously, why would the DWP suddenly want me in some group chat? Bit suspicious if you ask me. The message went on saying, *Official Notice from DWP* saying I haven't applied for my 2025 Energy Allowance yet and I needed to do it by 27 June 2025 to get £200-£300. They said after that date, no more applications would be taken. The message had a link too - https://rebrand.ly/s415jyj - but honestly, I wouldn’t touch that link with a bargepole!
