Got a call from this number today on my elderly mum’s phone again, reported it to the TPS once more. The voice sounded like an Asian lady in a really noisy call centre. The 1471 came up with a mobile number, so it’s obviously a dodgy scam trying to dodge the call blockers.

Got a call twice within an hour from someone asking my partner’s surname but with the wrong first letter. The man, who sounded Indian, got really rude and aggressive when I asked them to stop because they were disturbing my baby. Honestly, don’t bother answering these scammers!

Never got his name, but he had a strong accent. After checking the comments here, I worked out it was from Savers Club. He said he had some quick questions and it’d just take a couple of minutes before removing my number from cold call lists. I told him I was already on the TPS register, and he quickly twigged that I wasn’t fooled and hung up.

Got called for a survey and they said I'd get a £250 M&S voucher once it finished. When I asked at the end about when I'd get the voucher, they just ignored me. Then I asked who to contact if it never showed up and they told me not to worry about it. Honestly, don't be nice to these lot, just tell them to buzz off right away.

Got a call around 7.50pm, no chance to chat as they hung up straight away. From what I've read here, it seems to be the same lot pestering our landline and two mobiles for weeks. They try asking for personal details and who lives here. They also use the name "choose lifestyle". Best not to share a thing. Just make it a hassle for them.

A man with an Asian accent phoned my 80-year-old Dad. Because Dad struggles with hearing, he couldn’t catch what the guy was saying, so he ended the call. Today, the same man rang again saying Dad had hung up on him last week. Dad tried to listen but just couldn’t make out the words and ended the call again. I’ve told my Dad to just ignore these calls and never share any personal info. It’s really worrying, especially that he called back, saying Dad hung up on him!

Just had the same thing happen to me last week. Someone asked for "Mr ??" and I told them they had the wrong number. Then they asked for my name, and I flat out said no. They ended the call right after. To me, this call feels like a real risk to your privacy and personal info. If there was a way to pick more than one warning, I'd choose the worst three for sure.

Ive had these calls loads of times from something called the savers club. They ask loads of personal stuff like your address and birthday. Feels like they want to sell your info or use it for identity theft or something dodgy like that.
