Got a call saying my bank account got hit with £79.99 for some Amazon Prime thing. The voice was robotic and weirdly said "point" instead of "dot". Never mentioned the currency though. They said to just hang up if it’s fine, or press 1 to chat with Amazon. I bet pressing 1 just connects you to some expensive number that’ll drain way more than £79.99, like a total scam.
