Got a call from what sounded like a robot saying something about my national insurance number, so I just hung up straight away. After I looked it up online, it turns out it’s a common scam where they try to trick you into saying your number out loud. Seriously doubt the government would ring from a mobile number or ask for that kinda info over the phone. Definitely watch out for stuff like this, it’s dodgy.
