Got a phone call with an automated voice claiming to be from HMRC, saying it was urgent and I needed to talk to an advisor. When I finally got through, the person on the other end spoke funny and said they were calling from overseas. They kept asking how they could assist me but I couldn’t really hear them properly. Then they started threatening to call the police on me. Definitely seemed like some kind of scam from abroad.
