April 4th, 12:45pm. Got a call from a woman with a strong accent claiming she was from BT about some “issue with my internet connection”. She somehow knew my last name even though I’m unlisted. I thought it was odd BT would ring from a mobile number and also they’re not even my internet provider. Ended up hanging up after telling her I reckoned it was a scam.
