Got a call supposedly from HMRC, saying they’d sent me a letter but it got sent back, and now they’re threatening legal action. Seems dodgy to me - HMRC never ring or leave messages like that. The voicemail went something like: “This is His Majesty's Revenue and Customs. An official letter was returned to us. Legal proceedings will be started soon. Press one to talk to an officer...” Totally feels like a scam.
