I got a call from this number, and the bloke said he was from Amazon. He told me some guy called Mark William in the States was making loads of purchases on my Amazon account. Apparently, he was going to send me a text with a six-digit code to put into my phone to stop Mark William from making any more transactions. Then he asked me what the code was, which seemed odd, so I asked why he needed to know it. Suddenly, he started shouting at me, insisting he was just trying to help. I just said thanks for the heads up and told him I'd sort it out with my bank and Amazon myself before hanging up.
