I got a call from a woman with an accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. She said there was an issue with internet in the area and wanted to check our connection. Since we don't use BT, I asked why she wasn’t contacting our actual provider. Her reply was confusing and didn’t clear things up. I started thinking it might be a scam, so I just hung up in the end because it felt dodgy.
