Got a call from someone claiming to be from a credit review board, asking weird questions about my mortgage - which I don’t even have. They said they could connect me with an FCA-approved advisor for a credit review. The number looked dodgy, flagged as a potential scam. The moment I told them I don’t have a mortgage, they just cut off. When I rang back, nobody picked up, but an automated voice said the company was called “Best Consumer Quotes”. I looked them up everywhere and found nothing. Feels like a total scam or at best, spam to me.
