This was totally a con, they claimed me or my partner got in touch about making a will. Thing is, I’m on my own and haven’t even given wills a second thought. Just a rubbish call, really.

Like some others here said, this number seems to be a total scam. When I picked up and asked what water company they were from, the person just muttered something about a rebate on water bills. As soon as I told them I actually work for a water company, the call just cut off out of nowhere. Really strange! Just a heads up to everyone - if you get a call like this, it’s best to contact your local water provider directly. They wouldn’t ring you up about rebates anyway, they’d send you all that info through the post.

Had a hard time catching what he was saying, his accent was quite thick. I caught something about being from Essex Waterboard and offering me a refund or something like that. Problem is, I don't even live near Essex.
