A bloke called himself Jason and claimed to be from the housing repairs dept, sounded like he was from London. He reckoned I lived in a council flat with loads of outstanding repairs, offered to sort them out for free and even mentioned a few grand in compensation. Wanted to ask me some questions. There was a weird pause every time I spoke, like it was some sort of robot. When I asked him for the postcode and house number to check, he just ended the call. Definitely felt dodgy, likely a scam.
