Got a call from a guy who said his name was Mathew and insisted it wasn’t a scam. He went on about some government scheme for heating targeted at people over 50. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he just kept chatting away. Eventually, I just ended the call.

At about 0907GMT I got a call where the person spoke with a really strong American accent, which I doubt was actually HMRC. However, HMRC have definitely used some nasty and dodgy tactics before, so you’ve got to be careful.

This number rang me twice, and when I picked up it just went quiet. Pretty sure it’s one of those dodgy scams.
