Received a call from an unfamiliar number but didn’t answer. After glancing through the comments left by others, it seems wise to steer clear of this one. Better safe than sorry!

I received a call claiming to be from British Gas, but it struck me as odd since they were ringing from a mobile. It felt very much like an unwelcome, cold call. I informed them that I didn’t hold any accounts with their company and promptly ended the conversation. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Had a rather dodgy phone call just now from someone claiming to be with British Gas. They brought up Martin Lewis when I mentioned that I’m already a customer there. Seemed a bit off, so I put the phone down and promptly blocked their number.
