This person, going by the name Denise Couchman and using the email [email protected] along with the mobile 07458114163, tried to con me out of money by sending a fake rental contract. They wanted £550 as a security deposit. I thought it was a bit suspicious, so I googled the email and found some warnings about scams. They even told a story about losing their hearing and claimed to be an elderly lady. I wasn’t about to send any cash upfront, but I have to admit, they were quite a slick scammer! None of the property pics showed up on Google, which made me more wary. The deal seemed way too cheap to be true, so I looked the email up and, as expected, it was a fraud.

So, this person called Denise Couchman, using the mobile 07458114163 and email [email protected], tried to pull a scam on me. She sent a dodgy tenancy agreement and wanted £550 as a security deposit. Something felt off, so I googled the email and found out it was a scam. She even spun a tale about going deaf and being an elderly lady to sound convincing. I never actually planned to send any money, but I’ve got to admit, she’s a pretty slick scammer. None of the photos of the house showed up on Google, which made me suspicious. The price was way too good to be true, so I checked the email and yep, it was all fake.

Beware of this lady who tries to con people by asking for a holding deposit for a flat she claims to rent. She goes by the name Denise Peyker Couchman, or at least that’s what she says. Loads of folks have been caught out by her on Gumtree - she replies and then tries to get cash from them. When I asked for proof, she sent me what looked like land registry papers, but they were totally fake. She also claims she can’t hear well, so insists on email contact only.
DON'T SEND ANY CASH TO THIS WOMAN!!!
No genuine landlord would ask for a deposit without meeting you in person and showing the property first.
She also uses a lot of different phone numbers and emails to keep changing her identity.
