Got a call from a bloke sounded like he was from Essex, chatting about my dog. Thing is, I don’t own any pets, let alone a dog. I asked him how he got my details but he couldn’t really explain, just said maybe I’d put my info on some database. When I asked if they could remove me from it, he kept interrupting me, so I couldn’t get the words out properly and the call just ended. Now I've blocked that number because I’m fed up with all these annoying spam and scam calls.

I tried calling back but got this robotic voice, sounded American and said something like “you’ve reached Best Quotes, we tried calling but no one picked up.” Seems like some kind of automated messsage, maybe AI or something.

Got a call flagged as possible spam. I picked up and some bloke started going on about a survey for dog owners. Problem is, I don’t own a dog. When I tried to explain that, he just ignored me and kept yapping until I had to shout that I don’t have any pets, then he hung up straight away. Not even a “sorry for wasting your time” or anything. Proper annoying and pushy. Blocked the number immediately.
