I got a voicemail saying there was an issue with my tax return and to press 1 to chat with someone from HMRC. Just to be clear, HMRC don’t ring you up like that, they always send letters through the post. So yeah, this is totally a scam!

Got a call from 07488822568, sounded like a bloke with a foreign accent working in a loud call centre. He claimed I'd applied for something, but when I asked what exactly and who he was, the line just went dead.
