Got a call from someone saying they were the ‘local energy efficiency rep’. As soon as I asked who they were actually working for, they just hung up right away. Definitely feels like an insulation scam to me.

Got a call from some energy savings firm, asked if I was from the address they mentioned. When I asked them to clarify which property, they just hung up. Definitely a scammer, please make sure this number is blocked!

Got a bloke called Chris on the line, says he’s some sort of energy advisor. I told him straight up I don’t have a house, and he just ended the call. This number has rung me 9 times today, and 7 of those times there was nothing but silence. When he called the last time, I repeated I don’t own any property and he just cut me off once more.

Received a couple of calls from this number today. The first time, the guy asked if I was the homeowner - I’m not - and said his name was Chris. He spoke quite clearly and mentioned something about loft insulation. I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Then about an hour later, they rang again but just silence on the other end. Can’t even be bothered to hide their number! Definitely looks like a scam to me.

Got a call from some guy called Chris saying he was like a chief advisor or whatever for my area. He started going on about how my postcode’s insulation was rubbish and tried pushing me to buy new insulation. I just told him thanks but no thanks and ended the call. I’d just had my insulation done, so the offer was useless anyway. Even if I hadn’t, I’d probably still have said no cos it sounded like a typical sales scam.

I got two calls this morning, and I actually answered both because I was waiting on someone to ring me. But every time I said hello, the line just cut out!
