So, had a call from some bloke saying he was Chris, the energy advisor. The start was obviously a pre-recording, no way to cut in at that point. When it finally switched to a real person I asked him to prove he knew my area since he said he was local. Of course, he just hung up! No surprise there. I often wonder why these muppets don’t find proper jobs. Oh wait, probably because they’re daft. Soon enough AI will take over their roles anyway, and you can’t exactly offend a bunch of lines of code.

Got a call from someone who said he was Chris, some kind of energy advisor, about loft insulation. He kept asking for my age, but only within a 40 year range, which felt a bit dodgy, like he was trying to figure out if I was old and easy to push around. Definitely put me on edge.

They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail on my answering machine, which instantly made me a bit wary.

When I asked them to show me where it actually says that, they just ended the call. They kept pushing to find out if I owned the house, but I just didn’t reply.

I've had this number ring my answerphone twice in a row and just hangs up when it hits the voicemail. Yesterday, it even switched to ringing my mobile. Looks like it could be some call centre, maybe working for a debt collector like Cabot, just checking if you'll pick up on a mobile.
