I’m telling you, it’s a finance scam! Seriously, don’t pick up or reply to these calls, just ignore them.

My phone rang and it seemed like a scam so I just ignored it, no voicemail left either, the number was 07488 810445. I always avoid answering mobiles with just a 'hello', I say my name and mobile number straight away - stops those annoying automated systems from picking up on it. Just my trick!

Somebody rang me up saying they were from the FCA, promising help with bitcoin recovery. They even used my first name but had a strange accent that didn’t sound local at all.

I've been getting loads of calls from numbers that all look pretty similar, like this one too. Received a call from someone purporting to be from the Financial Credit Authority. They insisted that I should transfer thousands of bitcoins to a different account, claiming that my current one wasn’t secure. The bewildering part is that I’ve never even dabbled in buying bitcoin before! What a bizarre situation!
