I’ve been getting loads of calls from Verisure about setting up a security alarm - they keep saying it’s a follow-up but it’s just nonstop spam. Over the past week, they’ve buzzed me on loads of different numbers, more than ten times actually. Some of the numbers I saw were 07488 803445, 07488 803468, and a few others that all started the same. Definitely feels dodgy to me.

These Verisure security people keep ringing me about some alarm install I never asked for. It feels like a dodgy scam to me. They've called repeatedly from loads of different numbers, more than ten times, which is pretty annoying.

Numbers I spotted from them are 07488 803445, 07488 803468, 07488 803469, 07488 803460, 07488 803452, 07488 803459, 07488 803455, and 07488 803454. Avoid them if you can!

Got loads of calls from Verisure about putting in a security alarm after I supposedly asked about it. Honestly, feels like a dodgy scam to me. They’ve rang me more than ten times across different numbers. I just got a call from that same number loads of people have mentioned, and honestly, nobody said a word when I answered. It’s like they’re ghost callers or something.

Not sure who they were, thought it might be Verisure at first before I checked the number here. They kept ringing us after we’d made an enquiry to that company. Weird thing is, we also got loads of calls coming from the same main number, but ending in a 6 or 7 instead of the 5. Quite annoying really.

Got a couple of calls from this number today, picked up both times but no one spoke. There was just some background chatter, like from a call centre, then they just hung up! Why ring me if you’re not going to say anything or identify yourself? And of all times, 7:30 on a Saturday night when I’m settled down enjoying Strictly Come Dancing! Either tell me who you are or quit calling me, seriously!

I got a call from some firm called Verisure Alarms claiming if you're from my town, you might qualify for a “free camera doorbell.” They ask all sorts about home security and recent break-ins around here. Then they say they'll send you a voucher by text that's supposed to knock 50% off the price. It's a total con though, because they never say right away it’s not actually free - just makes it sound like it’s a giveaway for your safety. The whole thing breaks UK laws on advertising under the Sales Of Goods Act, as it’s plainly false. They’re just after your money and trying to trick folks with misleading info. Plus, I reckon they’re running an illegal spam scheme using a hacked list of UK phones and emails. Absolute rubbish, don’t trust 'em.

Got a call at 6:50 in the morning, didn’t pick up, then they rang me back like 2 minutes later and I just ignored it again. After that, they called yet again. Seems like spam to me, definitely don’t bother answering - who calls at such ridiculous hours anyway?

Got a call from a well-spoken bloke just before 8pm about smart alarms. I had a quick look for these alarms and all I found were Yale’s self-install brand names. Didn’t appreciate being told where to put his alarms, so I cut the call off - he was going on a bit after that.

There’s a bit of dodgy business going on with Verisure alarms in the UK - they’re apparently using a nicked list of phone numbers and emails to cold call people. If you get a ring from 07488803445, it’s worth reporting them to the ICO so they can look into it and hopefully slap some fines on them.
