Got a call from some bloke pushing me to file a dodgy claim after a car accident. Told him off for calling me by my first name and he just hung up on me.

Got a call from 07488 595547, some bloke saying I had over £3000 in PPI owed to me. I told him straight that he was a total scammer and rubbish, then hung up. Not even two minutes later, the same guy rings me again from 0141 739 3317, with that call centre noise in the background. Honestly, how do these crooks still get away with this kind of stuff? Really annoying 😡😡😡

Got a call today around 1:33pm. I picked up and instantly they hung up. Normally I wouldn’t bother with unknown numbers, but I was waiting for a call from someone important.

This morning at around 10:06, I got a call from 07488 800074. It was completely silent, no one said a word before they ended the call. I then tried ringing back from another phone but got a message saying "The number you have dialled is not in service, please double-check and try again." I've blocked the number now.

The main issue is not enough people bother to report these calls, so the authorities don’t get the full picture of how many scams are happening.
