Got a call from some bloke saying I’m wanted for tax evasion!!! Never hit 1 or reply in any way to that number. Pretty dodgy and risky stuff.

Similar to others here, they rang asking if I remembered the crash I was involved in some time back. I told them to take me off their call list, and to annoy them a bit, I mentioned that everything was settled and everyone else hit up had already got their payout for that accident. Then I just ended the call.

Scam alert! I got this call from someone at "CMC - Claims Management Company" claiming to be from a call centre with a foreign accent. They were asking if I recalled any accident from the previous year. Told them straight away to take my number off their list. Definitely an autodialler scam with a real person pretending to be legit. Avoid!

Got a call from someone saying they were with Aviva "regarding my recent car crash". Thing is, I recently had an accident but my insurance, nor the other driver's, is with Aviva. Pretty obvious scam to me. Ended up just hanging up straight away.

Yesterday I got a call from CMC about some accident from last year, asking if I remembered it. I told them I was actually overseas during that time. The person then just said alright, goodbye, and ended the call. Really weird!

I get a call from them every day saying I’ve been in some sort of accident with a Ford Mondeo. Thing is, I’ve never even been near one, nor have I driven one or been a passenger. It’s baffling. Whenever they ring, I just say “hold on a moment”, then mute the phone and leave them chatting to themselves for like 45 minutes. Feels good to waste a bit of their time!

I picked up the phone and swear I heard my mum’s voice, so I went, “Mum? Is that you?” Then it hit me - my mum was actually in the kitchen calling me when the call suddenly ended. But the funny thing is, I live by myself!
