Today I received a text supposedly from NatWest, but the link looked dodgy and definitely didn’t take me to their real website. That number’s dodgy as heck, so I’d steer clear of it if I were you.

Today, I received a quite unexpected phone call on my mobile from someone saying they were from NatWest. The bloke said they needed me to verify who I was and that he’d sent a link that I could use on my phone to do it. Right after that, he just ended the call. When I looked at the link, I quickly spotted it was dodgy. This scam seems really clever and complicated, so I thought I should tell everyone because it’s very easy to be tricked by it.

Had a call from NatWest, sounded dodgy, felt like a scam to me. Be careful, could be fraudsters pretending to be them!

Got a call from this number claiming to be NatWest, saying I’d updated my phone number for internet banking. They sent a link to what looked like NatWest’s online banking site. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with NatWest. Definitely a scam.
