I got a call claiming to be from BT, with some long winded spiel about my internet being vulnerable and my files being at risk - something like 80% chance of threats sneaking in. I clocked it as a scam straight away. Decided to have a bit of fun messing with the bloke - figured I was stopping anyone else from falling for his nonsense. At one point, he tried getting me to press Windows + R to open some program, but I told him I was recording and had his number tracked. He just chuckled nervously and hung up pretty sharpish.
