Got a call from Banham Books saying they’d sent us a brochure about buying unwanted books. They mentioned that they’ve sent these to every house on the street and planned a visit next week. I replied that I’d told everyone around here not to take part and to refuse entry to anyone like that.

Seems like it’s not a proper company at all, even tho they have a website that costs just £1 a year and a supposed actual location (checked on 16th July 2020, 35 Berkeley Square is linked to nearly 40,000 firms). Weirdly, Banham doesn’t seem to be one of them. Plus, the email they use looks dodgy as well. If you get a call from these lot, best to inform the cops straight away.

Seems like this company isn’t genuine, even though they’ve got a cheap website domain for just £1 a year and a supposedly real business address (as of 16th July 2020, 35 Berkeley Square hosts nearly 40,000 companies, but I couldn’t find Banham listed there anywhere). Plus, that email they gave doesn’t look legit either. If you get a call from them, definitely report it to the police.
