I picked up a call only to be greeted by an automated voice. Once I got through to a person, they identified themselves as being from HMRC, claiming there’s a legal matter against me! They inquired how they could assist, and I found it rather amusing since I was the one who answered their call! They then requested my name and address but abruptly hung up before I could say a word. I have to say, I've never received a phone call from HMRC before, so I have a sneaky suspicion this might just be a dodgy scam!
