This guy tried to buy my laptop on Gumtree and said he'd throw in an extra £50 if I brought it over to Leicester. He sent me some dodgy PayPal emails saying the money was sent, but I spotted the trick straight away. When I called him out, he just blocked me. Said his name was Darren, but turns out he’s actually called Jumis Anelkovs or something like that. Total scam!

Someone hit me up about a Gumtree listing, offered to pay me more than my asking price. They wanted me to send the item all the way to Leicester but insisted on using PayPal for payment, which gave me the creeps - seemed like a classic PayPal scam. They told me to contact them on WhatsApp at 07487890161. Stay cautious, folks!

They’re trying to scam folks. Don’t bother opening any email from them, and definitely don’t shift it to your primary inbox. It’s no Paypal message, just ignore and delete it straight away.
