They claimed to be from Microsoft, but I knew straight away it was a con - Microsoft doesn't do cold calls. They asked me to install anydesk.com, which I flat out refused, then hung up. After that, I got about 8 calls back from three separate EE numbers. I ignored most, but picked up one; the caller tried sounding like an elderly person, with this dodgy shaky voice going “heelloo I’m from Microsoft...” Totally fake, clearly some youngster pretending to be old. Honestly, what a joke!
