Got a call from someone who I think was a scammer from China. They pretended to be friendly but actually tried to trick me into giving a voice recording. I heard they use that stuff to threaten people or mess with their voice using AI deepfake technology. Definately dodgy and be careful!

Got a call from a Chinese scammer who’s into catfishing - they wanted me to record my voice. From what I heard, they use it to make deepfake AI clips and then threaten or blackmail folks. Watch out!
