Just like others have said here, I want to add that when I reported this, they mentioned there’s an app that makes the call appear to come from a real HMRC number. So be really cautious! Hopefully, this warning stops more people from falling for it!

Like others have said, I wanna add something. When I complained about it, they told me the callers use an app that makes the number look real, like it’s actually HMRC calling. So watch out for that! I’m hoping this little warning stops more folks from falling for the same trick!

Got a call from this number 01204870841, and the person on the line said they were from HMRC. They tricked me into sending pics of my bank deposits to the phone number 07487447394. Sadly, I fell for the scam. I rang the police and my bank straight away to try and recover the funds, but sadly it had already gone.

Got a ring from the number 01204870841 the other day. They wanted me to send pics of the payment I supposedly made to 07487447394. Ended up getting tricked by these lot, such a pain!

I got told my mate needed to cough up 3000 quid or else they’d get sued. Totally a scam trying to scare them.
