I have been receiving texts and emails claiming I've got a parcel stuck because I haven't paid postage fees. It’s clearly a scam trying to get me to pay some fake shipping costs. Beware, don’t get caught out!

Got a text off 07487269057 saying they couldn’t deliver a parcel through Royal Mail and that I need to pay for the postage. Thing is, I’m not expecting anything at all. Looks like a scam, so watch out for this number!

I'm based in Poole, Dorset and got a text early this morning around 6:23am saying my parcel was redirected to the local Post Office because of some unpaid shipping charges. It asked me to go to a website link to reschedule the delivery - which I won’t share here. This seems dodgy to me, I can’t imagine the Post Office would handle things like this by texting links out. Definitely feels like a scam.
