Some bloke rang me saying he was Dave from Openreach, trying to convince me my IP address was under threat. Sounds like a total con to me. Openreach doesn’t sell services directly to customers or handle personal info like IPs or broadband accounts. They just deal with the cables and network stuff. So yeah, they wouldn’t be ringing up about this sort of thing at all.
