Big thanks to whoever shared the info down below, really appreciate it. I've now reported this through all the recommended channels and also contacted EE, who said they’ll block the number. Fingers crossed they can trace the IMEI or use cell tower data to help catch these scammers. Honestly, I’m usually really careful with stuff like this, always double checking emails and never replying to suspicious messages. But this has seriously ramped up my paranoia! 🤬🤬

Since you shared your personal info with scammers, it's important to report it to Action Fraud through the police. Go on their website where you'll find a victim report form to complete. If the scammer contacted you by text, forward the message to 7726 and also send a screenshot to '[email protected]' and also file a phishing report via the email system’s 3 dots menu at top right. Best of luck and remember - never trust an unknown caller!

Got a dodgy text with a link trying to scam me out of my bank info. Beware, it’s a fraud attempt.

Got a call from someone pretending to be EE. I foolishly shared a bit of personal stuff cause of my iPhone autofill, but luckily didn’t give any bank details. Tried to contact EE about it but couldn’t get hold of anyone. EE really needs to step up and stop these scammers!

They claimed to be EE and kept threatening me with fines for bills that weren't processed. Then they sent a really dodgy link. Definitely don’t trust these lot.

Claims to be from EE, saying there’s a problem with my last bill and to tap a link. I’m not even a customer with EE, so this is obviously a scam. Don’t ever press those dodgy links, folks. Just block and bin it.
