Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, saying they’d seen a purchase of an iPhone for £164 using my info. Then they sent me a text with an Amazon OTP code and wanted me to read it out to them. I told them no and asked if they could email me the details instead. The caller kept pushing but I stayed polite and declined, saying it all felt a bit dodgy. Then he told me to just hang up and wait for the money to come out of my account, repeating it several times in a rude tone.
