some bloke called peter claiming to be from a credit investigation team but he couldn’t even get my name right. i just kept quiet and he kept saying hello over and over. when i finally replied, i reckon he knew i wasn’t falling for it and just ended the call. bloody annoying!

Some bloke called saying his name was Peter, but I’m sure he wasn’t telling the truth - he had this Indian accent and sounded like he could be from one of those credit checking scam groups. I told him to get lost, mentioned that I was recording the call, and joked that he’d be getting charged a quid a minute.

some bloke called me saying he was from credit fraud services and promised to clear my debts for free. he sounded proper cocky and when i said no thanks and said cheers for calling, i just hung up. no sooner had i done that than he rang me back straight away. obviously, i ignored the second call. i'd say just block this number without a second thought.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from ‘credit control services’ - honestly, it was both funny and kinda worrying. Told me my name and number were on some file and they might write off debts I don’t even have! They kept using this mobile number. The bloke sounded like he had an Indian accent, but I’m rubbish at telling accents apart. Had a good rant back at him, which was actually quite satisfying. Definitely blocked the number afterwards!
