I got this really stressed-out robotic message telling me my National Insurance number was used in some dodgy way and they were cancelling it. They told me to press a button, but I can't remember which government department it was from. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a text on 29/05/2021 saying I was fined £950 for wrong info on my census form. I just ignored it and didn’t reply.

WARNING! If you get dodgy calls, texts, or emails, make sure you report them right away. Just search for ‘action fraud’ on Google, go to the ‘police.uk’ website, then look for the ‘reporting’ link or button. From the dropdown, pick the part about phishing. When you scroll down past the part about scam emails, you’ll find the place to file your report. Make sure you paste any links in the textbox on the third page. It doesn’t take long to do and you don’t have to sign up or anything. Really worth doing!

Just got a text claiming "CENSUS: Your application has incomplete info. If you don’t update it, you might face a £1000 fine. Check it out here: [#]census.record-info[###]". Sounds dodgy to me.
