Received a text purportedly from the Post Office stating, "Hello, we missed you! Our driver will redeliver your parcel tomorrow. Kindly reschedule and pay the £1.45 service charge here [link removed]. Please respond YES or NO before following the link." I found it rather odd that this message arrived at 00:28-aren't they supposed to be closed at this hour? Upon clicking the link, I was prompted to provide my personal details, including my name, date of birth, and banking information. It then claimed that additional postage was necessary since proper cards couldn't be left due to COVID. Something felt off, so I opted not to enter my real date of birth or any banking info.

I just received a rather dodgy message purporting to be from the Post Office. It reads: “Greetings, we were unable to deliver your package. Our courier will attempt to redeliver it tomorrow. Kindly reschedule and pay a £1.45 service charge here. [scam link] Please reply with YES or NO before tapping the link.” What's intriguing is that this was sent at 12:28 AM! Who knew the Post Office operated at such ungodly hours? Sounds fishy, if you ask me!
