I got a text saying it was from HSBC, something about a payment trying to go through on a new device on 13/05 at 13:29. The message told me to check my transactions by clicking a link. It looked dodgy, so I rang HSBC direct and they confirmed it wasn’t them - they never send links like that. I’ve blocked that number now, but annoyingly, I’m still getting texts from a slightly different number with the same scam. Really frustrating!
