Just got a text saying it's from HSBC about a payment of £240 to some guy called C Jone. Didn't bother reading more since I don't even have an HSBC account. Totally looks like a scam to me. Best to just block and get rid of it!

Got a message saying it’s from Royal Mail asking me to pay a dispatch charge or they’ll send my parcel back, came with a link - pretty sure it’s a dodgy scam.

Got a call saying it was HSBE informing me about some Mr Jones being added as a new payee - definitely just a scam.

Got a dodgy text asking for my bank details. Sounds like a classic phishing scam to me, so I just ignored it and blocked the number. Better safe than sorry!
