I picked up the phone and heard a robotic voice with a kind of American Siri accent saying that the UK tax office was going to take steps against me. It asked me to press 1, but of course I didn’t press anything. Pretty obvious it was a dodgy scam that could be risky. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
