Got a text claiming to be from HSBC saying there was a payee request from a device they didn’t recognise. Problem is, I don’t have an account with HSBC at all. Definitely a scam, so watch out!

Got a text saying there was a try to add a new payee from some device they said wasn’t registered. It told me to go to some website to confirm if it was me or not. Problem is, I don’t even have an HSBC account. Number was 447485447304. Seemed dodgy to me.
